Mike and I visited St. Lucia for our honeymoon. We found the Sandals resort to be everything it was touted to be! There’s no question we’d return in a heartbeat. The diving experience, however, was marred by the fact that there were jelly fish everywhere! I was the only diver to escape without a sting that week! Apparently, around the full moon it’s spawning season, and with the current coming in, the jellyfish were plentiful. The divemasters here, however, were very good and safety conscious. We’d recommend the crew, just make sure you check the jellyfish status before you go if diving is important to you!!
Calaveras Big Trees State Park

It was great visiting my family in California. It was unfortunate how we all came together. My visit to California was for the funeral of my grandfather. He lived a great life. Though many of us gathered for the funeral, it was great to see everyone and enjoy their company. While in California, we visited Calaveras Big trees State Park. All I can say is wow. I have added some photos and an attachment to the photo album.

2008 SCUBA Diving Trip to Curaçao

Curacao was one of my favorite trips ever! Our hotel had a small aquatic center adjacent to it, and allowed us free entry throughout the stay. We were fortunate to do an open water dive with wild dolphins, and to experience sea lions up close and personal! We also visited their aloe vera plant and ostrich farm where we were actually able to feed a large ostrich and hold a baby! We toured a small cave and the beautiful coastline while there. Thanks to Crystal and Sherry who provided these photos for us, as we lost ours due to technical difficulties!

2007 SCUBA Trip to Honduras

These photos were taken while on the Utila Aggressor, a live aboard off the coast of Honduras. The weather during our visit made finding dive sites a challenge, but we still found ample photo opportunities here! We were continually in search for the great whale sharks which frequent the area in late spring to early summer. Unfortunately, this time, there were none to be seen. Oh well, guess we’ll just have to go back and visit one day soon! What a shame!
